It is a 7-month intensive and comprehensive training program that offers technical training and professional development to aspiring tech professionals in the Fintech industry.
Now in its fifth cycle, the program is designed to produce high-performing and industry-ready Software Engineers.
What can I expect from the GCash Fintech Engineer Cadetship Program?
The GCash Fintech Engineers Cadetship Program focuses on developing cadets' Java Programming skills and learning all about Cloud Architecture and Cloud Native technologies.
What are the components of the program?
The program consists of technical training in Foundational / Core Courses, specific training for Software Engineering, Enrichment Sessions, and a culminating capstone project. All cadets will undergo various certifications as part of their retention requirements. The program will also have non-technical learning modules in communication, project management, leadership, etc. Apart from the classroom sessions and instructor-led learning, cadets will be immersed in their respective Tech departments within the company and be mentored by top professionals in their fields.
What are the program's qualifications?
Early career professionals with 2 years of work experience in programming languages, operating systems, and software are preferred.
Fresh graduates with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or any STEM-related course are open to apply.
How can I apply?

How many Cadets will you be hiring?
The selection process will be very rigorous, and we will only be hiring 30 Fintech Engineer Cadets for the Program.
What will be the status of my employment upon onboarding?
You will be hired as a probationary employee with a competitive total rewards package.
What is the timeline of the program?
The recruitment will begin in February 2025, followed by a series of assessment activities in March 2025. The official start of the program will be in June 2025.
